Nicola Yoon’s best-selling, young adult novel “Everything, Everything” is now a major motion picture, and it’s YA audience might be the only one it can appeal to.
Stella Maghie directs this film targeting 13- to 18-year-olds, with a script that’s slow-moving, texting-heavy and ridiculous, followed by a repetitive musical overlay in an emotionally (and visually) sterile environment.
